Dr. Dowd is a licensed IV sedation dentist who has trained with some of the nation’s leading sedation specialists at the University of Southern California. Less than 1% of all Texas dentists hold an IV Conscious Sedation permit. This special permit allows him to provide IV sedation from the comfort of our Tyler, TX office. In addition to 25 years of experience and membership with several prominent sedation organizations, Dr. Dowd and his sedation team are certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, in all areas, are truly equipped to handle your sedation needs.
